Myself and my ex tried for a baby for a year, I had 2x 21day cycle tests for ovulation and they both came back as not ovulating. I had periods every 3-4 months also so the doctor sent me to fertility clinic that has minimum of 1 year wait list.
It's been nearly 6 months since myself and my ex split and someone new has come into my life. I'm scared incase I get pregnant straight away because since the split from my ex, my periods have come every month like clockwork so there's a possibility. I had an ultrasound and it came back completely normal uterus, no polycystic ovaries etc, lots of bloods and all normal so there is a chance I am fertile.
I don't want to do hormonal birth control so I want the copper coil, fertility returns to normal after its removed also which is great.
I'm really worried about ruining my chances of finding out if I can have children by having a copper coil and then getting my fertility appointment cancelled.
Not sure how it works to be honest so any help would be greatly appreciated.
