Flashing smiley 5 days

I've got the flashing smiley on Clearblue Advanced Digital for the fifth day now! I'm on cycle day 20 and usually have 28 day cycles.

Has anyone else had this? It feels wrong...

Yes, they’re weird sometimes. I’ve had a static and no smilies beforehand. My cycles are so regular and I know I ovulate as have had tests and get ovulation pain. To be honest I think they’re a bit of a swizz.

It’s a while ago now so I can’t quite remember but I got one three days later than I anticipated previously and it’s the month I got pregnant. It was either 10 or 8 days of flashing before my static. I’d definitely persevere with them and the longer you use the device the more accustomed it gets to your levels and it adapts.

@Sufac Same, I had that one month too, I am starting to wonder if it's helpful at all. It's very expensive!

@Scalessayeek how can the device get to know me though as you get a new test device every couple of months (with the 10 sticks?). Maybe we're talking about different devices? You cant buy only new sticks for the clearblue digital advanced, you have to get a whole new kit. This is a pic of the one I'm talking about

@m00ngirl so I’ve looked into it and they’ve changed the wording since I used them (it has been nearly three years). It says you can use a holder the next cycle if you want to but you must use the same holder for a full cycle.

If you have a few holders you can actually find in date sticks on eBay from people that have fallen pregnant mid cycle. It’s normally a lot cheaper than buying new. I can’t believe they don’t do the refill packs anymore either 😖

I had 7 days of flashing before my static smiley this month.

Or you may have missed your peak? When did you start testing?

@YorkshirePeridot I got a low fertility symbol on CD15 and then flashing smiley every day since. I'm now on CD20 so unlikely I'd ovulate now as I usually have 28 day cycles. Flo thinks I ovulated on CD17 despite me logging the ovulation tests. None of it makes sense!

Did you get your static smiley ?

No! Tbh I really don't like these digital ov tests... or the non-digital ones! Are you having the same issue?

Yes, first month tracking ovulation and have had the flashing smileys for the last 6 days🙃. I do think I'm a late ovulator going off previous pregnancies , I'm on cycle day 20 today and starting to have the egg white discharge , so who knows !
