Has any one had a spotting like period and a - pg test? and still been pg?

hello
i'm new here and was hoping someone could help me.

I started bleeding on cd 31 and though it was just my period but it was so light that it was more like spotting. Nothing much there just when i wiped. I spotted for about 3 days the stopped for over 24 hours then started spotting agian for another day.(sorry for TMI) That was over a week ago and i now feel like i've got pregnancy signs. Tired, feeling sick in the morning sore boobs weeing more. But all the tests i do say negative. I've used 2 clueblue and 2 tesco own brand both with same results. I did last test yesterday afternoon. has this happened to any one else and been pg?
Was this a period or spotting? Am i on cycle day 10 or almost 6wks pg? Don't know whats going on body says one thing test's says some thing else.

Yes, my friend had this. Spotting and pg eventually confirmed.

I had similar, spotting on and off for about a week and indeterminate pg results - very, very faint. Eventually confirmed after early scans and the result is sat on my lap chewing my top as i type

Some people don't get a positive test result until quite late, this could be what has happened to you.

How regular are you though? is a 31 day cycle normal for you?

I don't have regular cycles there anything between 28-35 days. This has been the first time ever it's been so light it wasn't worth happening. lol The stupid thing is if my period had been a normal bleed i wouldn't have even questioned the tests.

This happened to me. I had light spotting for a week, but AF never arrived. I did a test and it was a strong BFP. I was only on CD 25...

i had spotting during 3 pregnancies. I went full term (actually 8 months and delivered safely) with 2nd preg. 1st preg was lost at 14 weeks and 3rd was lost at around 5 months but only because i had an amnio which made me miscarry (I am an older mum). each of my sisters (I have 3) have had spotting throughout their pregnancies. i have always had it when my period would have been due if i hant been pregnant iyswim. I believe it is fairly common to spot throughout. for my 2nd preg i also bled quite badly throughjouyt at other times and spent lots of time in hospital.

i do hope this is helpful and not scarey. i think it is quite normal but understand if you are worried. have you asked your midwife/gp?
