Cervical polyp removal and TTC

Evening,

Saw gynae today for my referral appointment following TTC number 3 for nearly 2 years. During exam he saw a small polyp on my cervix, which he said would be harmless but he recommended removing there and then. All very quick and he said it was unlikely to be the reason for TTC problems anyway.

However, I am bleeding (sort of like a period but light-ish) and I’m wondering if ok to DTD tonight as ovulating in next couple of days. Everything I’ve read online says best to wait until bleeding stops as sperm don’t like it so unlikely to be successful anyway. Most info seems to be about uterine polyps too, which obviously I don’t have.

Scan was otherwise reassuring with two follicles looking very mature and my lining was a good thickness!

any advice v welcome please
