Getting worried now.

I am TTC. Im 4 days late for AF. thought I had some spotting yesterday but not too sure and nothing today. Taken a total of 5 tests over 5 days all BFN and the last test I took was early response. It is not normal for my period to be so late or for me to spot. Has anyone else been pregnant and not shown on a test for ages. Not sure if I need to call doctor. I just want AF to arive now so that I can plan for my next cycle.

Any advice will be much appreciated. Xx

I’m sorry you are getting worried, it really isn’t anything to call a dr about though. AF will either arrive late or -fingers crossed- you will get your late BFP.

You don’t take any supplements with biotin in do you? They can prevent tests picking up HCG.

Maybe just wait a couple of days before retesting. Good luck.

Oh that's interesting. I'm currently taking vit B, folic acid, iron and evening primrose oil. So it's possible. X

Is this vvvvvfp. I'm 5 days late for AF and im never that late!! 2nd month TTC. Please tell me this could be something. I'm going crazy lol. Tested with afternoon urine. X

Hmm I’m not sure based on that pic. I would do another test in the morning.

Sorry I can't see anything. My periods started being irregular when I started TTC, I think from the stress. You don't need to call doctor. Try and take your mind off it and keep busy, it's only been two months, i'd really stop tracking for a few months and just have fun.

It took me 11 months to conceive and we’re still early days now. Try to relax as much as possible. I know it’s so hard, but all the stressing and tears did nothing for me. I started thinking “it’ll happen when it’s meant to” and then all of a sudden, it did!

Took another test and it's still negative and I still don't have my period.

Hi op how old are you could you be reaching irregular period age? How long have you been ttc and been off contraception could your cycles still be regulating?
How long are your usual cycles? Mine vary massively from 26-30days usually and when we're ttc we keep such a close eye on them! When usually it just would be what it is!

This comes from someone about to embark on month 4 ttc number 2 it took Me over a year with number 1 at age 24!

Did you track ovulation did you definitely ovulate I've had months where I've not ovulated (no peak on opk strips) and my period has been late on those months too and back to normal next month

I didn't test ovulation but just got the premom app and OPKs for this month so hoping to start them soon but with no period its hard to know when to start. Xxx

AF arrived this morning m, 1 week late. I'm gutted but also received I finally know now. Starting month 3 with so mutch more knowlege of OPKs and supplements. Onwards and upwards. Xxx

Your probably getting sick of me now 🤣. My period lasted 1 day. Wasn't majorly heavy. I did take 1 tranexamic acid tablet yesterday as my periods are absolutely horrendous usually but wouldn't have thought 1 tablet would stop it completely. X

I used opk and bbt to track mine. The month I conceived I ovulated 5-6 days later than usual, it wasn’t normal for me but it happened. It was very lucky I was tracking otherwise we would have missed the window and wouldn’t have ds now. So it’s worth doing. Also you won’t have the worry about late periods if you know when you ovulated. Usually it’s not that a period is late it’s that ovulation is later than usual.
