Hi Everyone, going into cycle 11 TTC and really struggling to understand why it’s not happening for me. Each cycle gets harder.

I’ve been reading good things about acupuncture for and wondered if anyone can share any success stories? And how long to show progress?

thanks

My friend did! 18 months of trying and fell pregnant after her first session of Accupucture and herbal medicine.
could be a coincidence but who knows?

I went along to a chinese medicine Dr to get accupuncture. Well, I thought I was going for my first session, turns out it was just a consultation that he normally charged £50 for but said I could have it for half price. He said he need to see me every week (around £55 a session), and offered herbal teas at £10 a day. That's £500 a month all in. I felt really icky when I left, like I'd nearly been taken advantage of. I'm not a vulnerable person, I'm a really strong character, but I felt 'off' about the whole thing. To be honest if I really wanted to do it I could afford it but I felt like it was money grabbing.

I would consider it with the right practitioner but once a week was too big a commitment for me.

I have heard they recommend once a week to target different stages of your cycle! I don’t think he was saying that to take advantage.
to be honest I’d pay anything if I knew it was going to help me conceive

A family friend tried for years, at the point of IVF, came across business card for acupuncture for fertility and went along. Her core body temperature was too low apparently and they tweaked it. I don't know how many sessions she had. She has two kids now and credits the acupuncture.
You could search for fertility acupuncture on Facebook, ask in a mums group or have a Google to see if you can find one that does it specifically for this. Good luck.

Yes! Friend was ttc for nearly 2 years, had acupuncture and was pregnant a couple of months later and now has her beautiful baby girl. I’m booked in for my first consultation next week… eeek. Sending luck your way OP.
