CLEVER OVULATION MUMS NEEDED

Hi, after a CP I’m back on the TTC wagon.

Wonder if you can help me shed some light with clear blue ovulation tests:

CD11-14 flashing smiley & DTD CD13
CD15- flashing AM static PM
CD16- DTD AM
CD17- static still
CD18- PM STILL STATIC 😑 have I not ovulated yet??

We won’t be able to DTD again as my partner is now away on lates. Why is my test still positive after 3 days?? Does this mean I’ve not ovulated yet? If so I am worried that DTD on CD16 won’t be enough as I’ve not even ovulated yet!! My CM is not very good so we use preseed so I can’t even check that & I’ve had no OV pains but I often don’t.

Is this the clear blue digital ovulation test? If so when it comes up as a circle, smiley face etc it will stay for 48 hours
so ideally you need two digital monitors to use alternating between the two

Hey! Thanks for your reply. Yes it was a clear blue digital. I tested 15th Feb PM & it was a static smiley & it stayed for 48 hours then I tested after 72 hours (today- 18th Feb PM) and it is a static smiley again! Does this mean I have still not ovulated from my positive on 15th? Xx

Once you get the peak there not really much point in keeping testing you will ovulate 24-36 after getting your peak result. I only dtd once on the day I got my peak and conceived .. but had been trying for two years so it's definitely possible that once was enough

I’d say you are still fertile
I got. Smiley on the 13th and 14th day of my cycle tested with CB again on the morning of the 15th and was a round circle
it means that you are in your fertile window
so you are fertile and probably haven’t yet ovulated (once you ovulate then your fertility tends to drop) you probably know that! But there is no reason why you can’t have sex once ovulated just in case.

i knew absolutely nothing about ovulation until I wanted to conceive
it’s crazy girls are not taught this when we’re in school

When you get your first static smiley your supposed to stop testing. The static smiley will stay there for 2-3 days ( i can't remember how long exactly) then it will reset for the next cycle of testing.

Ah okay! Maybe I did catch ovulation then & the test just hasn’t reset itself yet xxxx
