Hello

I’m very new to doing ovulation tests! Is this positive? The line is thinner than control line but seems pretty dark?

Thank you!

The line should be as dark or darker than the control line. That looks positive to me! Get DTD! Keep testing to see if it gets darker or if that is your peak ie. You're about to ovulate. I used the premom app which takes the readings for you and made it easier. I conceived the first month of trying but sadly end in a MMC. Hoping it'll work again soon 🤞

Thank you! So I took the clear blue digital one yesterday and it showed peak fertility, so does that mean i ovulated today or yesterday? Yesterday was the first day I tested this month just to see really. We DTD Tuesday 13th, Thursday 15th and this morning, not sure if those are ideal days or not!

Ive only had a 25 day cycle for last few months (used to be 27-30) so I’m a bit worried about my fertility. Maybe that doesn’t matter

@Lightevian from the way I understand it peak fertility means you'll ovulate 24hrs to 48hrs after that but sperm can live for a few days which is why your window is 3 Or so days before it and a day or so after. (can't remember exactly as it was November we conceived and haven't started TTC again yet.) Sounds like you've done plenty but maybe dtd tomorrow to be sure 😂

Thank you! So if peak fertility was Friday then could ovulate today or tomorrow too so should DTD tomorrow and Monday to be sure? I’m tired Grin

Sorry about your MMC too, fingers cross you’ll have some luck soon Flowers

@Lightevian infact it might be 12-36 hrs after peak fertility, have a quick Google! One more time won't hurt 😉

Ok thank you! It’s so confusing, I definitely haven’t worked it all out yet!

So I tested again just now and got these results (same test, two photos). Does this look lighter or suggest I’m still in peak? But then I did get a peak fertility result on the Clearblue digital on Friday! Confused

Just have sex tomorrow and next day, what’s the harm! Don’t get too obsessed with the tests.

Thanks, I’m also just trying to get my head my cycles and usual patterns especially given shorter cycle!
