Hi all - I’m 10dpo. I had a HCG trigger 11.5 days ago (evening of Thursday 1st) and so have been testing out the trigger. In the photo the top one is yesterday’s test, and I don’t think I can see any second line, so assumed trigger had disappeared. Bottom one is this morning’s test and I swear I can see a very very faint second line? DH agrees he can also see it but says we shouldn’t get our hopes up as it could still be the trigger. What do we think?! Am I clutching at straws here? I don’t want to get my hopes up but it’s really really hard as I’ve never had a ‘real’ positive (I had never seen a second line before until I had my trigger this month) Would it be too light for 10dpo anyway?!

I <think> I can see the squintiest squinter on it!
Implantation happens between 6-12 DPO, so it's not too light, no.

I don’t know if this is a better picture (used flash?!)

I’m also going for a big birthday dinner party at my in-laws tonight - I wasn’t planning on drinking much, maybe a glass or two of wine, but now I don’t know if I need to come up with a quick why I’m not drinking excuse?!

I can see a slight line and also, a glass or two of wine tonight is absolutely fine. Enjoy! X

Or just offer to drive, or say you don't fancy any wine!

I see a line, and I don't usually. There doesn't seem to be any colour to it though, so I'd remain hopeful but test again in a couple of days :).

Thanks all! I agree I’m a bit worried that it might be an evap line. Wondering whether to test again today or try and hold out until tomorrow morning…

I see a line too :)

I’m two days ahead, currently on 12DPO of my first letrozole cycle. There was no line on 10DPO, but a faint line appeared yesterday, which has got a bit darker today. FYI, I was told to wait until 14DPO before testing. Maybe wait until tomorrow and test again?

I also found that the clearblue test was more sensitive and line was much more obvious!

Wishing you all the best x

@GS7 yeah I think I should probably go out and buy another brand of tests - not sure which one to go for as I had heard that clear blue can be terrible for evaps / false positives! If things don’t work out this cycle I’m going to ask for Letrozole next month as seems to be a bit of a wonder drug!

@hopingforapeainapod I’ve ended up testing with easy@home initially and when I had a faint line, also started the digital Clearblue tests.

My Fertility doctor said that Letrozole has an 80% success rate with Ovulation, which was my biggest issue suffering from PCOS.

Keep testing the next few days. Good luck! 🤞🏼
