Please help - 2DPO but drop in temp

Please see image. Had LH surge and I'm supposed to be 2dpo (ovulation in line with previous cycles), I was expecting my temp to rise or stay above yesterdays temp, but it's slightly dipped, which means my 2dpo temperature is lower than one of my last 6 temps before ovulation

What does mean, have I not ovulated?

The only other odd thing is that my LH has come down really slow this cycle, took 2-3 days after peak.

Please any thought on this

Look up BBT fallback rise, also known as a fallback thermal shift. Think you're ok

Just sharing incase someone comes across this post in the future. It appears it was a fallback rise on 2dpo as my temp went up this morning

@MrsScotland thanks for sharing, I didnt know fallback rise was a thing. Learn new things everyday!

I literally only read about it the day before!

I am not sure what's going on for me, I had a peak on Sunday morning, I definitely had ovulation pains and bloating Monday morning but I didn't get a rise this morning. I was straight on google and read somewhere that the rise can happen 1-2 days after ovulation so really hoping the rise is there tomorrow. This is only my third month of doing BBT but haven't experienced this lag yet.

Hhmm was this morning temp the same as yesterday or even slightly higher? It could be that your body is still trying to ovulate (if it failed yesterday for whatever reason)

I I definetely thought I had ovulated on CD21 as had ovulation pain on the right side, was feeling shivvery etc. But the FF app has marked CD22 as my ov day. Because I've dtd both says hopefully I'm covered.

Fingers crossed it goes up tomorrow 🤞
