So I had an ectopic pregnancy last March I was 8 weeks along and had to have my right fallopian tube and baby with heartbeat removed to save my life.

We are ready to start trying again but leave for vacation on Tuesday next week for 7 days, would you start having unprotected sex from tonight CD 14 or wait until we get back from vacay?
Even if we did catch tonight or the next few days and for forbid it was another ectopic then a week wouldn't make any difference would it?
Ugh it was never this hard with my first baby because we knew no different, just had sec whenever and whatever. Now I'm factoring vacays and trips into our planning in case of another ectopic it's horrible.

I'd just start now - you won't even know you're pregnant until you're back from holidays if it happens. Good luck!x

It won't make any difference to start now if you were to conceive, but I understand your concern having suffered a ruptured ectopic pregnancy myself. Please try not to worry. If you become pregnant again, you will be offered an early scan at around 6 weeks to confirm the location of the embryo.
I really hope you are successful, good luck!
