Straight to solid smiley

Hello. I normally have a regular 30/31 day cycle. I started ovulation testing on Tuesday (cycle day 10) and got a blank circle that day but then got a static smiley the next day Wednesday morning (cycle day 11). No flashing smileys in between.
I did wonder if I started testing too late but This static smiley appeared a couple of days earlier than normal for me (I'm never early).

Anyway we dtd that same day but then DH has been too tired so now we've only managed to dtd again once more this morning (cycle day 14). Should we try one more time tomorrow or Monday or not bother? We aren't very regular due to dh's low drive so i won't bother again unless there's an actual chance. I think it might be too late now but then I wonder if I just had the static smiley where my body tried to ovulate early but actually didn't?

You have just described to a tee my cycle last month!! started clear blue digital testing on cd 10 blank, cd 11 straight to peak- i ended up with a 21 days cycle that month ( very odd cycle for me, i am on fertility medication and this cycle I’m on this month been scanned etc by the clinic and this cycle i seem back to normal, 1 dpo today)

For last month on my 21 day cycle we dtd on cd 7,9,11-peak & 12 and ended up with my period 10dpo which never happens for me, was a very light period but anyway was back cd 1 and onto my last cycle of fertility meds so hoping this is it🤞🏼

My DH is same with low drive, it’s hard for them too, sometimes forget that 🙈 I think if you’ve managed this morning that’s hopeful 🥰🤞🏼 do what yous can but don’t force it.

Thanks @LittleLemonPie it's all so confusing when your cycle plays up. I think I'm done trying this cycle now and will just see what happens. Like you said, there's no point in forcing it. It's so hard to not get obsessed about it all. Hope all goes ok with youm sending lots of baby dust your way too x

@Limepies it is confusing and hard at times but we’re not alone 💜
I think last month I was very stressed with other things so maybe that played a part in a shorter cycle.

Hi @LittleLemonPie - thanks for checking in! AF was due yesterday (based on the day I had my solid smiley) but I am still waiting and tested getting a BFN this morning.
I'm currently having some tests done and went for a scan on the 13th where the doc told me I had ovulated twice too so I definitely did ovulate. But feel worse about not dtd as much this cycle now.
I have been having tingling boobs and cramps on and off all week that are stronger today so I'm not very hopeful.

How are things going with you?

Sorry you didn't get some good news this month. Make sure you do something nice to cheer yourself up this weekend (I already have my chocolate stash ready). And think positive thoughts about the next cycle and getting a bfp soon . xx
