Abdominal spasms anyone?

Really trying not to symptom spot this month but then had the most bizarre thing happen and wondered if anyone ever had this followed by a BFP? I was sat in my car and my lower abdominal muscles started twitching- a bit like if your eye ever twitches. It went on for about 30 seconds. I’m about 13 DPO. Have had some dull aches which seem to have subsided and sore breasts but probably just as sore as they usually are. I normally spot before my period but fingers crossed haven’t so far this month. I’m taking pregnacare which I know can extend your cycle so wondering if the spotting might still happen.

Sorry this isn't the answer you're looking for, but how can pregnacare extend your cycle? Actually my cycles have been getting longer and I've been taking it. No idea that was a thing. Is it healthy?

Probably not the answer you're looking for but abdominal spasming isn't a symptom of early pregnancy. Have you tested yet? At 13dpo you should be able to get a pretty conclusive test result. Good luck to you 😊

@IsthisthereallifeIsthisjustfantasy I had no idea either when I first took it but there is a warning on the box. I have regular cycles and that month ovulated late. I stopped taking it but seeing as we hadn’t had any luck yet and because I’d been spotting thought I’d try it again this month and sure enough I ovulated about 2 days late. My friend is a GP and she had no idea either! X

@akk I’ve certainly never heard of it as a symptom either but it was just so random to happen today and I’ve never ever had that before. I never test as normally spot so know that AF is coming and spare myself the torture. I’ve got to test tomorrow though as we’re out for a 40th tomorrow night and I’m happy that the result should be accurate by then. I really don’t want to test though, think I’d leave it until Monday if it wasn’t for going out tomorrow! X

Yeah I think unfortunately we become so much more aware of everything about our bodies when TTC and so we notice things we wouldn't normally pay any attention to.

Fair play for managing not to test, I'm trying to do the same thing going forward!
