Test advice

So my December period was 1 day later than normal but 4 days (standard length) and then I had a period 9th-12th Jan. I was sooo tired 30th Jan onwards, so took a test on 5th Feb (day before period due) and faint but clearly positive lines on a few different pink and blue dye tests. Clear blue digital was negative as expected. On 7th Feb I got a clear blue digital positive 1-2 weeks and was feeling sick. 9th Feb Clear blue digital now says not pregnant and there’s barely any line on pink dye. It wasn’t first wee but wasn’t massively diluted at all either. Still feel sick, no bleeding at all and I’m bloated.

I have other children but have just never experienced anything like this and am worried something feels off. Would you just wait to see if bleed comes and look out for signs of ectopic? I don’t think EPU would do anything incase I was in any pain etc?

if you still have symptoms, try with FMU in the next few days. You might have had a chemical pregnancy, or all might be well and the test just picked up normal fluctuations in how diluted your urine was in these early days. Wishing you luck.

This may be a chemical pregnancy, or it might be an ectopic.

I'd keep testing and if you've still got pregnancy symptoms at six weeks, get a scan at the EPU.

It could all be fine!

Wait a couple of days and test again with a FRER. If it's a viable pregnancy you should get a good line.

I had another negative this evening (I just took as last one) and I have sporadic painful waves on my right side now so I think it’s a v early miscarriage. Weird when the digitalis were obviously positive but our bodies are a mystery aren’t they! :-( Thanks for your advice xx

I'd be concerned about the chance of it being an ectopic, so do keep an eye on the level of pain you're going through.
