Testing positive then negative

Hi everyone! I rarely post and have never posted about ttc but find reading people’s comments really helpful so thought I’d reach out and get people’s thoughts on my situation!

my partner and I have been ttc for over a year. We finally managed to conceive at the end of last year but miscarried at 5 wks. Two cycles later and I got a positive pregnancy test the Sunday just gone, followed by a negative on the Monday, positive on the Tuesday and now three negatives today (yes I know I’m that crazy I’ve taken three tests at once!) I felt symptoms of nausea this week and had some very minor bleeding at 8-9dpo (only when wipe) for a couple of days that was pink in colour. I assumed it was implantation bleeding

is it possible that I’ve lost the baby over the course of this week? Or is there any chance all of today’s negative tests are wrong?! Probs irrational thinking but I’m so devastated at the thought I’m no longer pregnant ! Happy for any reality checks from
anyone though

currently a few days late from period and still no full on period!

sorry to hear you’re going through this, sounds stressful.

it is possible it’s a chemical pregnancy as when I had one I had some positive and some negative tests over a few days and then my period did eventually come a few days late.

but if your period hasn’t actually arrived then you never know! Sadly I think it’s just a waiting game, as even a scan wouldn’t show anything this early.

wish you all the best!

How many DPO are you?
And can you post pictures of the tests.

So sorry to hear you also experienced this @AnnieStar12 and thanks for responding!

my pregnancy symptoms have gone now so I think it’s just a case of waiting for the inevitable.

@TheShellBeach - I’m 13 dpo now. I’ve thrown away the tests but they were clear negatives. And the ones I’d taken that were positive were clear positives as they said ‘pregnant 1-2 weeks’. Ah the joys of ttc!

OP I'm guessing that this was a chemical pregnancy.
I'm really sorry. It's such a kick in the teeth.
