When did I ovulate

Hi

I am in the 2 week wait and wanted help with how many days past ovulation I am. Our first month of trying for baby number 2.

I was doing ovulation sticks every morning and got a dark result on the Monday morning took another one Monday after work and it was light line again. I did test the Sunday morning and wasn't dark but didn't test again on the Sunday so am assuming the peak might have started late on the Sunday or over night. As my lh went down the Monday night do you think I ovulated the Monday? The app says Tuesday based on my cycle but am very confused!

If need to try again next cycle will test few times a day didn't know you had to to catch it. I have been nausea on and off this week and was very fatigued yesterday and day before but still testing negative but I am either only 9 or 10 dpo

You normally ovulate around 24 hours after you get your peak, although it's not exact - could be a bit sooner or a bit later. But if your peak result was Monday morning then you most likely ovulated on Tuesday. If your cycle is fairly regular then it's worth starting to do some extra tests 3 or 4 days before you usually ovulate - that will give you an idea of whether your surge is gradual or rapid (sounds like yours might happen quickly) and make sure you don't miss the peak.

@CluelessInLondon thank you! I wasn't sure if the fact it went back down the Monday meant ovulation had already happened so confusing! I did have cramps in my back Monday but I don't normally notice ovulation cramps so probably just slept funny! That means would only be 9dpo so still could be pregnant even though negative 🫰🫰🫰I got a faint line with my first on 11dpo so we'll see. We BD the Monday and Tuesday night so fingers crossed is it possible to be fatigued before you get a positive? I was so exhausted last 2 days feel bit better today xx

You could be feeling tired ahead of a positive test, although lots of things could cause that so probably not something to read too much into! 9DPO is still pretty early so maybe worth waiting a bit longer to test again if you can resist the temptation. Good luck and I hope you get good news!
