Hello, my TSH ( thyroid stimulating hormone) levels are 9.1 and TPO (thyroid peroxidase antibodies) is 144. Speaking to a GP soon but in the mean time - Please could anyone fill me in with their knowledge on what this means? I’ve recently had 2 miscarriages and these are my blood results. Thank you

@LW678 they like TSH to be 2.5 or under when ttc so they will probably want to put you on some medocation. I'm not a medical professional but have an underactive thyroid too

Thank you, are you on medication?

Yeah I'm on levothyroxine

I have an underactive thyroid. I haven't ttc so I can't help on that. But when it's not doing well it does effect my periods. So I can see it might effect ttc.

Your tsh is high, if using the measure I'm familiar with. I think under 4 is best for general health. Lower if on levothyroxine and not sure on level for ttc.

But in my experience levothyroxine does work really quite quickly. So try not to panic! And I've had absolutely no side effects.

Have you noticed any other symptoms of an underactive thyroid?

@Workwhat thank you for commenting. Absolutely zero symptoms which I find peculiar
