OPK and temps not matching up

Hello. I've been TTC for 2 years now (1 MMC and 2 failed IVF) but even though I'm pretty sure I'm out of time due to age we still track and try each month.
I have very regular cycles, always get a positive OPK followed by a temp rise 1-2 days after the positive which stays high until the day before/of my period.
This month though I had a temp rise the day I got the positive OPK?? I'm guessing maybe I peaked overnight. Ive attached pics of my OPKS. The 3rd from last I class as negative? As its not as dark at the control. The the next day I woke up and had a temp rise, which was followed by the second to last one after I'd got up. (The last one was in the evening that day)
Then to make it even weirder my temp dropped below the coverline this morning. This has never happened in my 2 years of temping.
Any ideas as to why this might have happened? Maybe I'm just getting old now and hormones are messing up a lot more.

How old are you? I'm 40 and have started having cycles where my temp drops like this, probably started over the last six months. Previously I was pretty sure I was ovulating, now I'm not so sure. It's like maybe my body tries but doesn't manage to ovulate?

I'd see what your temps do for the rest of the month. If they stay down it may be that you didn't ovulate. If they go back up again it might be late ovulation or an anomaly with your temping.

I'm almost 42 now. So it's entirely possible it's hormone related. I was actually planning on stopping temping/OPKS soon anyway as we're going to have one last go with our last frozen embryo and once that's over (if it doesn't work) then we're done with TTC. So I'll keep an eye on it but I think it may well be my body's way of agreeing its time to give up.
