Fertility tests at GP

Hi there, I’m wondering if anyone could help me. I went to the GP on Friday due to concerns over light periods and no ovulation being picked up on clear blue tests (I’m 35yo) She wanted to do a fertility blood test on day 2 and 21 of cycle which just so happened to be timed perfectly as AF was due today. For the past few days I’ve had light spotting and today I’ve had cramps but nothing more than light pink blood. The cramps have now gone, and going off my usual body schedule this might just be it for AF as it’s getting lighter and lighter each month😫 I’m definitely not pregnant. My question is, should I still go to the appointment tomorrow? Surely if I’ve had spotting for 3-4days without getting heavier and bouts of cramps, then I can assume that this is my period? I also thought it may be the day 21 test which is the most important anyway as it measures the progesterone. Any advice would be appreciated!

Yes, still go.
Have they checked your thyroid?

Thanks @DustyLee123 - I managed to move it to tomorrow just to be sure! It’s so disheartening as every month it’s getting less and less. I had my thyroid checked about a year ago for something unrelated but I definitely think I’ll ask for it redoing just so we can get to the bottom of it!
