Confused first time using ovulation tests

Confused; trying for number 2 after 7 years.

My cycles are usually 28-32 days. My last period was the 5th January, copper coil removed 21st January. if I go by my last period I ovulated 20-23rd January sometime.

I started testing with asda ovulation strips on 1st February to know better how my body works this month. 01.02 +02.02 which was negative, 03.02 faint line and today 04.02 getting stronger by the hour. if I go by the femo app I have peaked and shall ovulate today or tomorrow.

However, going by my last dates my period would start today or tomorrow. I'm confused as why I apparently ovulate?

Any idea? Thanks for reading

The coil may have changed things? Stress can alter things? Just keep having sex every other day!

Thanks, yeah I guess as it is not clear it we will dtd every day now 😇

Good plan! But for next month if it doesn’t happen this month it’s best to dtd every other day! Too often and the sperm isn’t always the best!

Oh yes you are right another good point. This is all very exciting. Baby 1 just surprised us so I never planned or had to understand my body on this level ❤️
