Hi I've been useing cheap OPKs this month. Just cheap ones from amazon. I started them on CD9 and that was the strongest line yet but I still wouldn't say completely positive. Since then they have gotten weaker and today CD14 and it was weakest one yet. I take them at the same time every day at 8pm after 4 hour hold and no drinks. I'm kinda hoping I did ovulate early and my husband is away for the weekend so we DTD early and hoped for the best. Is it normal to ovulate on CD9?

I have ovulated on CD7 before! I ovulated on CD10 when I conceived my son. It's definitely possible to ovulate then. You'll be able to tell when your period arrives... count back roughly 12-14 days from then which is the typical luteal phase and you'll have an idea when ovulation did happen. Are your cycles usually short?

Hi thanks for your reply. I nearly always have 28 day cycles witch is why I'm so confused. X

Hi OP, if you have a regular 28 day cycle I think it’s less likely you ovulated that early and are just yet to ovulate. The luteal phase is rarely longer than 14 days. How long have you been doing OPKs, do you know how long your luteal phase is?
Obviously difficult to say without seeing a picture of your test but I’ve attached a pic of mine from this month where I thought on day 20 it was about to be positive the next day but it wasn’t and I didn’t actually get a peak til day 29.
