The chances of me being pregnant are absolutely tiny but I'm late on my period which is unusual. The last time this happened is now 14 months old 😂. But I only had sex last week. I have strange cycles though because dd was conceived the day before I was due my period. It looks negative to me but I don't know if I'm imagining the faintest of lines? But don't know if that's because I keep examining it.

Sorry I definitely can't see anything. But if you had sex last week and ovulated late, then it could be too early to show. I would wait until 14 days after you had sex and if AF still hasn't shown up, test again. Good luck 😀

@BeckyPfromLeeds that's absolutely fine, it would be the wrong time to have a 2nd anyway! We've just started ripping our house out and I'm not on a permanent contract at work so wouldn't get mat leave. Will see if AF shows up. Was just driving myself mad looking at the test! Thanks x

I know that feeling hun. This is my first month trying for my first. I'm on CD32 and have tested 3 times (including this morning) and all negative. I really wanted to see a line though 😥 I hope AF turns up for you x

Thank you @Jadex92x. I have some cramping so hopefully will come on soon. This is how I got caught out with dd though as I didn't realise it was an early pregnancy symptom and just presumed I was coming on!

I tested again this morning, still BFN and no sign of AF. I'm still getting weird cramps which are deffo not the same as normal pre-AF ones. Have you tested again @rickandmorts ?

Cramps are a good sign @BeckyPfromLeeds! I didn't realise I was pregnant with dd for ages because I kept having cramps and thought I was coming on. No haven't tested again because I don't have any and not been near the shops, plus I feel silly buying one because we only had sex for about 10 minutes and he pulled out so it's very very unlikely. But I still haven't come on and feel really tired but that could be explained by having a 13 month old that never stops! Keeping everything 🤞🏼 for you x

How far along were you before you realise you were pregnant? Did you test negative for a while beforehand or just not test?

You are right, it does seem like such a slim chance and that happened to me when I had a freakishly long cycle last year. I knew he didn't finish so there could be no chance but I still had a 49 day cycle 🙈

49 day cycle is crazy!! I didn't test for around 2 weeks as I thought there was no way I could be plus I'd had Covid so thought that could have messed my period up. I was so so shocked when I did test and it was positive!! Anyway still nothing this end @BeckyPfromLeeds x

I know!! My cycles are all over the place. I had a 97 day cycle in Feb 23 and a 57 day cycle in Sept 23. Still keeping my fingers crossed for both of us x x

How are you doing @BeckyPfromLeeds? Still nothing this end but no symptoms of anything today! Going to try wait til next Tues/ Weds and if I haven't come on by then then test again. Then it will be over 2 weeks since I had sex so if I am then it will definitely show and if it's negative I can put my mind at rest and know my period is on it's way at some point x

I am good thanks, still nothing here either. I am going to leave it until Monday to test again but something doesn't feel quite right. It could just be a long cycle and we missed ovulation and its going to come, I don't know. We do keep BDing though as we did say that we want to keep the first month light and stress free but that definitely isn't going to work for me. He's very laid back and given all our challenges (our ages, my weight and cycles etc) he thinks it is going to take a while, and I did too but we will see.

I just don't know how long to leave it before going to the docs as I have had cycle lengths any where from 19 up to 97 and everywhere in between!! 😂😂

No symptoms is a good thing but from all the research I've been doing recently, doesn't mean anything. Fingers crossed it is just a late AF for you. Keep me updated x x

Hey @BeckyPfromLeeds sorry had a hectic weekend. Just checking in again! Have you tested yet today? Still nothing here 😭 but I was googling the chances of getting pregnant from precum (god I hate that word 😂) and it really is a tiny chance. I'm going to get a test tomorrow and if that's negative I can put my mind at rest. Sending luck if you haven't tested yet x (ps I'm West Yorkshire too, from Huddersfield!)

Yes, I tested this morning and BFN. But as I pee in a cup I thought I would do an OPK as well. And I had a line!!!!!! 🫨 Maybe it is just a really long cycle but it still doesn't explain all these weird symptoms.

Fingers crossed you get the result you want. I am using the easy @ home ones but I do have a couple of clearblue digital should I get a BFP. Nothing will beat seeing it in words 😁

I also did another OPK at lunch and it is higher......unless, it's actually detecting hcg (one can hope 😂)

Hey @BeckyPfromLeeds how's it going? Have you tested again since Monday? We've had a hectic week and all been ill but I finally came on on Tuesday!! And then had a really heavy painful period so not sure why it waited so long. But I'm relieved. Hope you get the result you want 🙏🏼

Hi @rickandmorts. Yes, it's been a bust week for me too. I've been working over in Warrington this week so you can imagine my anxiety when contemplating driving over the pennines with the snow ❄️ 🙃

Well, still nothing here. No BFP and no AF. I'm going to give it another week and see what happens. I have had cycles this length before so we will see. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed though as I have been getting cramping when I normally only have it when I'm on, so we'll see.

I bet you were relieved to see af. Fingers crossed when you are ready to officially try, everything will work for you. Thank you for checking up on me x x
