Does anyone else get weepy/down at ovulation time?

I find that I don't get PMT, I rarely get bad cramps with my period and they are never really that heavy or long lasting.

What I have noticed since charting my cycles is that I get really down around the time I ovulate. I get bad ov pains every few months and for me they are worse than period pains and last for 2 - 3 days. I also get increased sex drive a few days before I ovulate then lose it at ov time.

Does anyone else get like this? I'm starting to dread ov as much as my period/not being pregnant again this cycle.

I get weepy and this month it coincided with my SIL telling us she was pregnant (an accident so totally out of the blue as well). That didn't particularly help my weepiness!

Ive been feeling down and miserable all day, and Ive just had my thread answered on the health forum regarding cramping mid-cycles- seems its ovulation pains, something Ive never experienced before!

Maybe this will be a daft question- am I too late to DTD now Im experiencing cramping? Does it mean ovualtion is over or just about to start? How long would you reckon Ive got?!

Sorry for the hijack

I get my cramping pre-ov so go for it!
