Purple method!?

Who has tried the purple method? I have read about it on here but can’t find many posts.

I believe it comes from a fertility expert. He suggests dtd 7 days before you should ovulate to empty the “tank” of old or dead sperm. Then no action at all (even alone time from your partner) for 4 days later (3 days before O) in order to build up lots of healthy young sperm and leave them in waiting. Then 1 day before O have sex again. Then one day after expected O incase you ovulated late.

I’m considering giving it ago but dtd on O day also (as I can’t see the harm?!)

I've never heard of this, but I don't personally think it's necessary.

Providing there's no underlying issues, I think if you have regular sex in the run up to ovulation there'll always be healthy sperm waiting?

I really don't think these methods have any credibility to them. Dtd every other day if you can or for a few days in the run up to ovulation and hopefully you'll be lucky.
