Good Morning!
I am just beginning a new TTC journey..previously ttc for 3 years, i have PCOS and my husband has low morphology, so we had 4 round of IVF/ICSI. 2 succesfull, 1 miscarriage and 1 resulted in our daughter who is now 2.5 years old!
We are not going to go though with any more fertility treatment so we are going to carry on with the natural approach in the hopes of a miracle!!
I am after any tips for conceiving with PCOS and low morphology. Any success stories, any supplements etc. I would really appreciate just any support in general!
My periods are every 60 days and im not even sure if i ovulate. Im not currently taking anything to try and regulate this so im starting from scratch with everything!
Thanks all :) xx

Zinc and moyo inostol

And 3000 iu vit d day a day

And some b6

B6 - minimises miscarriage risk - as does vit d

I have PCOS. DD1 was conceived after 3 rounds of letrozole after 2years of ttc. DC2 (currently 30w pregnant) was a natural conception even after DH was told he had low morphology and my cycles were very irregular.

Things we did when ttc DC2 was that DH took wellman conception vitamins and gave up drinking, i was taking a high dose of metformin (but im told myoinositol is the natural version of metformin, which is pretty nasty on your system, so def advise trying that first!) plus conception multivitamins. Then we both did a low carb, low sugar diet (I had a lot to lose so i did the fast 800 diet, whereas DH had less to lose so he just cut out the crap from his diet and cut down on white carbs). We both lost over 10% of our body weight over a three month period and we conceived DC2 at the end of this period. Literally found out as we were sat in the fertility clinic arranging an HSG for me before trying more rounds of letrozole. It was my first ever natural conception. So it def can happen!

Good luck on your journey!💪

I'd second it Starts with the Egg book. Be careful with things like Maca, it can have horrible side effects and mess up your cycle. Fertility reflexology has been great for me.

Thank you all so much!!

Cannot recommend Claire Goodwin's book enough "getting pregnant with PCOS" it has so much useful information and plenty of case studies. Goes into detail about underlying causes, dietary changes and supplements. I've been following the diet advice (high protein breakfast, no UPFs and cut back on carbs and sugar) and taking inositol. Have noticed a huge improvement to my mood and skin in the last few months. My last two cycles have also shortened. But PCOS has lots of root causes so what works for me might not work for you, the book tells you what blood tests to get to identify your own root cause.

I don't know too much about sperm morphology. DH has 4% normal sperm which although sounds low is apparently in the normal range according to WHO. When you think about it there are millions of sperm in a sample so you only need a few good swimmers! I've heard co-q10 can be good for sperm and egg health though. Not tried it myself.
