So my little girl is 22 months, initially I wanted to try for a baby when she had hit 18m but due to gallstones I had to wait till I had my surgery before trying to conceive. I’ve now just had my surgery 4 days post op! And obv can’t pick up my little girl and do our usual stuff together, I was planning on trying for a baby next month as I really wanted to have my children close in age so theh can be close. But now I have some worries, I’m worried that I have not giving my daughter enough time esp as I’m recovering rn and if I get pregnant right away then I haven’t been able to get back to picking her up and doing our usual stuff. Am I being silly should I just start trying or would you wait?

Well I wouldn't be TTC until you're well enough to be picking her up. And then by the time you do conceive and get far enough along to not be able to do much again, you're likely looking at least a year away.

So I'd heal and then TTC. Mom of twins so the whole "must be an only child with all the attention for as long as possible" kinda passed me by

Just wanted to offer some reassurance that there's a 5 year age gap between me and my sister and we couldn't be closer. I know you won't wait that long, but basically closeness or distance in age is no guarantee of a particular relationship.
Only you can decide but it sounds to me like it would be sensible to give yourself more time to heal.
