Progesterone whilst TTC

Hi everyone,
I have had 2 miscarriages in the last few years, both at 7 weeks. I do have a 5year old boy who I had no difficulty conceiving.
My cycles have been irregular and I have previously taken clomid.
I am now taking Letrazole and had a positive OPK today. We DTD the last few days and today so hopefully have caught the fertile window!
I was previously using progesterone suppositories before I had my second miscarriage which I started after getting my BFP.
My question is..I still have some progesterone suppositories left..should I start taking them in a few days e.g.3dpo? I have also been taking pre conception vitamins and Impryl.
Thank you!

It wouldn't do harm. Keep in mind though there's a possibility it could extend your cycle and that elevated levels of progesterone can provoke what is often confused for early pregnancy symptoms.

Take from 3dpo. Test at 14dpo and if negative then stop the progesterone.

100% take them from 3DPO and don't wait till BFP. I've been ttc since MMC last March. I had been prescribed 800mg progesterone to take from BFP. I was due to start fertility treatment next cycle and was feeling a bit sad about it. I had 200mg progesterone left in the bathroom cabinet since last year so we decided to give it "one last shot" before treatment.

We dtd a few days over fertile window, I started the old 200mg pessaries on 3DPO and I got my BFP yesterday on 11DPO. I've no doubt whatsoever that it was the progesterone that did it.., it's still really early days of course but I've gone to the chemist to start the 800mg now. Best of luck 🤞

Thank you for the replies..really appreciated. I wasn't sure if it would do any harm starting them before I got a positive test.

@Sez281 huge congratulations on your BFP. Have everything crossed everything goes okay.
It's so hard not to pin all your hopes on a positive OPK and I know this two week wait now will seem like forever!

Thanks @Ngall24 it's still really early days and I can't get excited yet because of previous losses but feeling tentatively hopeful 🙏 There's no guarantee it will work for you first time (I was obviously very lucky that the sperm and egg met 😂) but there's no doubt it's why I got my BFP so fingers crossed for you. Hope the tee doesn't drag too much 🤞Keep us updated

Sorry I know this is an old post! Did you have period type twinges leading up to your period?
