Hysteroscopy Help

Currently TTC.

I have a hysteroscopy procedure tomorrow but have not been sent a letter about the Do's & Don't's before it (only the appointment time and place). Been told over the phone to take some ibuprofen an hour or so before.

I didn't even think but we BD last night. Haven't ovulated yet according to temps and currently CD19 (cycles are very irregular)

Is this okay or do you think they'll turn me away? Bit worried as was told its a 8 month wait and as I've been having incredibly painful heavy periods and some discomfort during sex so I called and was lucky that I got a cancellation when I asked if they had any.

Haven't been told I need to not BD or use birth control but just panicking slightly..

Anyone know or have any advice? ❤️

This shouldn’t affect your scope at all no, they usually tell you to avoid spermicide or certain lubes beforehand incase they take a smear while there but should be fine.
They will be able to tell anyways even if you don’t say anything but I don’t see it being a problem.
They do advise when booked not to have unprotected sex between period and procedure as it cannot be done when pregnant, but so soon it will be fine.

Oh thanks so much lovely. that's put my mind at ease!

I was so lucky getting booked in so quick but haven't been told about anything for the procedure so I'm going in a bit blind 🙃😂
