Brown tinged EWCM

Hi all, cycle day 10 and in my fertile window, not due to ovulate for a few days but am producing EWCM. However, it is tinged brown which is clearly old blood. Does anyone know why this may be? Thank you

@LW678 I’ve read that you can get ovulation spotting?

Is this usually when you actually ovulate? I’ve read that once an egg is released it can cause pink/brown spotting but this is before an egg has been released. This is the first time it’s happened too so feeling unsure

Yeah I think it’s at the time of ovulation. Are your sure on your ovulation date?

Yes as I’m tracking with ovulation tests
