Implantation bleeding? Short luteal phase.

Just looking for any similar experiences really. I had a miscarriage in September 23, and have been trying each month since. I’m 12dpo today and I’m usually due AF at 11dpo (short luteal phase).

Usually I have brown discharge on 10dpo and full swing AF during the night / morning of 11dpo. I was cramping on 9dpo and have had very light brown discharge since 10dpo which is strange for me that it’s lasting longer than usual. Id done a pregnancy test on 10dpo which was BFN.

Could this brown discharge be implantation bleeding? Would it last two days if it was? The waiting game is awful!!

@Lou210220 im sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I also had a miscarriage in June and a chemical pregnancy last month.
it could be IB but I’d try and wait a few more days if you can to see if you have anymore brown discharge and do another pregnancy test then. I know the wait is hard though when it’s all you can think about! I think with IB you wouldn’t get a positive straight away. I’ve just had a similar thing, I started to spot brown/pink discharge on Saturday and it lasted until Tuesday.
I did read online that IB can last anywhere from a few hours to 3 days so fingers crossed!

Thanks for your reply! I did another test this evening and it was BFN - so confusing when your cycle changes and your symptom spotting. I’m really hoping it’s going to be this month but just feel like I’m out.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage & chemical - so tough isn’t it.

@Lou210220 it could possibly still be too early to show on a pregnancy test if it is IB. Are you still having the brown discharge?
I know how you feel though, its also so tough when early pregnancy symptoms are similar to PMS.
The wait after ovulation is so hard, I just find myself googling every symptom!

Yeah still having brown discharge, it’s not enough to fill a pad but there when I wipe.
