I came off the pill and had a bleed 12th December- 16th December (5 days). I then had a positive ovulation test on 27th December.

My next period was 6th January- 10th January (5 days) and I had a positive ovulation test on 20th January.

This morning and this afternoon I received these results. (The tests are 9 months out of date).

I have of course ordered in date tests to come tomorrow but how would I get a positive result a few days after ovulation?! Is it likely the tests aren't valid?

Many thanks.

Based on your timeline, you're at least a week and a half too early to test positive I'm afraid. So I would assume the expired tests are inaccurate.

I got a 1-2 weeks on a clear blue digital today. Will have to wait for a scan and see where I am.
