Hello

I am on CD30, we haven't been actively trying this cycle, only dtd 1 time

We have been told that we will have difficulty to conceive naturally although it is possible, but our next step would be ICSI if we couldn't.
I think finding out this recent news has taken the pressure off and I haven't been thinking about it as much.

Took a test this afternoon with a freedom test from tescos. Line came up pretty much instantly within a minute. Has gotten darker.

I have been stung with cheapies before and false positives. So I am really trying to save myself the heartbreak and not get my hopes up.
I have got a false positive previously last year from a freedom dip stick style test.
I only bought a cheapie as it popped into my head that I would be due my period about now and no sign so wanted clarity.

I have bought clearblue digital ones to use when able.

What are your experiences with these tests? Have you gotten Real positives from them?

That looks like a super strong positive?, have you got any other tests you can take

Hiddenvoice · 24/01/2024 20:09

That looks like a fairly strong positive! How soon can you take your clearblue digital test?

Nyckol · 24/01/2024 21:03

That looks positive, I would try other brands if in doubt. Keep us updated x

That’s amazing, congratulations!!
I was the exact same, once the pressure was off and barely dtd I unexpectedly became pregnant. My little miracle is now almost 2 and I still remember the pure joy of my dh’s face when I told him I was pregnant.

Thank you!
I am so shocked, I can't believe all it took was dtd once and that was a few days before predicted ovulation.

It hasn't sunk in yet but we are both over the moon 😁

Congratulations!!

Congratulations!!! I scrolled down expecting to see a tiny little squinter when you were asking how accurate these tests are and there was that massive BFP! You obviously didn’t quite dare to hope even though it was SO positive ❤️ 🤣 Congratulations. “It will happen if you just relax” is the last thing someone TTC wants to hear, but this just goes to show it’s often true.

CaribbeanCupcake · 25/01/2024 07:15

Congratulations!! 🥰🥰🥰

Nyckol · 25/01/2024 07:34

Amazing news! Congratulations!

Roses5678 · 25/01/2024 07:48

Thank you everyone! I am so shocked still.

I just worry somethings going to go wrong but I know its out of my control.

When do you think I'd be able to do a week predictor test?

@Raffaell0 it's so right, last week we booked a holiday for this year as I was under the mindset we were going to enjoy life and have fun whilst ttc. Now this!

It's a strong positive so I would say now! Or tomorrow morning if you want to do in first wee!

Roses5678 · 25/01/2024 15:15

I think I can mentally torture myself by doing more tests.
I've decided I'm going to leave it, I've got a 2 clear lines and a positive digital. That should be enough for me.

I am already worrying like hell something bad is going to happen even though completely out of my control. So I think just taking more and more tests when I have positives will add to that stress
