Anyone had a bfn on a clearblue 6 day early test at 9dpo and gone on to have a bfp?

I've tested tonight using a 6 day early clearblue and got a bfn. 9dpo and 5 days until AF due. Don't want to lose hope but a little bit deflated as I've had SO many symptoms. Anyone got a bfn on one of these tests around this time and went on to get a bfp?🙏

I got my first positive 10DPO. All negative before that - I tested each day from 6DPO.

This website shows the probability of getting a BFP each day. So by 9 DPO more than half of pregnant women still wouldn’t get a BFP. You’re defo still in with a chance. Good luck!

Thank you! The clear blue one I used said 76% as it's an ultra early one so it deflated me a bit 🤷🏼‍♀️

Clearblue are rubbish and 9 dpo is very very early. I never tested positive until 11/12 dpo.

Get a pink dye test and wait a couple of days.

I certainly had stark negatives until the night of 10dpo. Then 11dpo I had positives on all tests including clear blue 6 days early.

Thanks ladies, I've just done another one with fmu and got a very faint line!! Hard to see, especially in a photo but it's definitely there!! 🤞

🤞 for you lovely!

not to bash your hopes but these blue dye tests are quite bad for evap lines so maybe get a red dye test to confirm it for you :) I personally never had an issue with these tests but I know a lot of people have!

tentative congratulations 🥳

Yes, I had a negative on a six day early digital, then had three clear positives the next day. That was around 9DPO. Sadly, I had an early loss, but it was a lesson in how quickly things can change. My tests on 03/01/2024 were stark negative despite several symptoms, then pretty visible on 04/01/2024!

Hannah156 · 23/01/2024 11:42

I know, I've read that! I made sure it was only 5 mins I left it for. I'm going to buy some red ones today 🤞🤞

Thanks for this and so sorry for your loss. Important to be tentative but hard not to get excited too xx

Currently 36 weeks pregnant and I didn't get a positive test until 10 days after my missed period even though I had symptoms!
Really strange.

Does anyone find that with the ultra early clear blue tests that you need to wait for atleast half an hour to see anything let alone the 3 minutes it is advertising. Even as my lines get darker I have to wait atleast 30 minutes to see something faint before it darkens throughout the day. It gives me a heart attach each day until it gets darker.
