LH confusion/nfp/ttc

I'm new to ovulation tracking, and would like some help if possible!

I'm confused about something but it may just be lack of knowledge. LH and premom test strips... From what I've gathered, LH always present. But I've been told multiple times in different groups/forums that it will always be faint, and never be blank. But this isn't the case for me, I've had blanks before. And currently have blanks too. The last 3 days have been like this. My period ended on the 17th and I was testing during my bleeding and had very noticeable (but not "positive") lines. Is this a concern or is there an explanation? I just don't get how I have LH showing up while on my period and right before, but not at all after when I'm getting closer to when I should be ovulating? Especially after being told it will never be blank.

I understand that anything that's not matching the control line is negative but wouldn't it make sense that I have more of line now than while on period? Or are all negatives essentially the same and there's no such thing as "more negative". I just can't grasp it lol

My cycle info:
Jan 1: peak surge, DTD the day before and after this
Jan 10-14: had bad cramps, longer than usual menstrual. Expected period day the 10th
Jan 14: started bleeding until the 17th, very water blood with no clots, but normal flow and occasionally mixed in with discharge
Jan 19: took pregnancy test in case, negative
(Had 2.5 or + levels from the 10th, all through the entire bleeding-- now the 20th through the 22nd have blank test lines)

Sorry not be be huge help, I’ve never heard of people getting blank LH tests. But when it comes to fertility anything is possible!

Sorry if this is really obvious - but you sure it’s not a faulty batch of tests?

Hi OP, I do feel like there is a very very faint line on that LH strip, I'm sure you've heard this already but is the urine you use very concentrated and taken in the afternoon? It needs to be to get an accurate result. I've had some that are super super faint in the past. I use the easy@home tests which I always find reliable, perhaps it's something to do with those premom tests.
I wouldn't be concerned if you are still getting a peak. That's all that matters.
