Husband and I had sex a couple days ago during what we thought was my period. I am 5 mths PP and things are still very sporadic. We thought we were safe, and didn't use any protection.

The bleeding ended up being spotting for a couple days....my cervix is really high and I'm having ewcm. I'm scared we have gotten pregnant....

I'm not opposed to another baby but it's so soon after my c section. Anyone been here?

If you're still breastfeeding - that could explain the lack of regularity around your cycle.

You don't know if/when you're ovulating, so I wouldn't rush to the assumption you're likely to fall pregnant.

You need to think of it as there being no “safe” time of the month anymore.
I can testify to the inaccuracy of these assumptions. She’s upstairs in her cot right now 🤣
In all seriousness though, there’s nothing you can do right now but cross your fingers that you got lucky and there’s no second pregnancy, but going forward you just have to use contraception every time unless you really are ready for 2 under 2.

@Omma23

You are so right. It was silly of us! I actually have 2 other kids, age 6 and 4 😂 so you would think I would know better

@Outliers

You're right, it's unlikely. Hopefully we got away with it this time and we will be more sensible going forward
