Hello, after a bit of advice please. I’ve been using the Clear Blue Digital Ovulation test for the first time this month. Day 1 was a blank circle (not fertile), then I’ve had flashing smileys since. I can’t see any difference in the lines though and just want to know if these are how they should be looking. Is it possible that I could have missed ovulation if I’m only testing once a day?
These are CD7, CD8, CD9 and CD10. I have regular cycles (27-28 days) and have been ttc for about 5 months. Thank you 😊

@PinkFlamingo888 I use these too & you shouldn’t bother looking at the lines. That’s what the trader is doing for you. You are always going to get a blank circle on the first test of the cycle as it gives the reader a base line of hormone levels to go from. With regards to the flashing smiley faces…it depends how quickly your LH levels surges…some people will start to surge one day & then the next peak, so they will get the flashing smiley one day & then the static the next day. Some people start surging but it can take a few days to actually peak, in that case you would get the flashing smileys for a few days. I have even read posts on here before of flashing smileys for a week. The most I have had is 5 days flashing before my static. Hope that provides some clarity?

Hi OP, I think it’s very unlikely you missed ovulation if you’ve tested on CD7-10 as it would be unusual to ovulate before day 7. Most people ovulate around day 14 or later.
I don’t use the Clearblue one so I can’t comment on how those tests usually look, but if they are like normal LH strips you have not peaked yet. Carry on testing. I usually test twice a day when I’m nearing my peak but I use regular LH strips so I’m not sure if the same advice goes for using the Clearblue monitor. I’ve attached a pic of line progression on my LH strips for reference.
