OVULATION TEST LOOK THE SAME

Why do my ovulation tests look the same?
I take two a day one first morning before I go to work ( try and hold it a bit) then one in evening around 6pm. I can’t see any change in them it just looks like I’ve dipped the sticks in the same urine 🤷🏼‍♀️
My periods are irregular so I have no idea when/if I ovulate but can’t see it gettting any darker

You just haven't caught ovulation yet, either you missed it before cd13 or you're yet to ovulate x

4LeafCloverBaby · 21/01/2024 10:06

Because you haven’t ovulated yet?

Lauren8642 · 21/01/2024 10:21

@4LeafCloverBaby
@Ttcmumma I know I haven’t ovulated yet but I expected to see it getting darker towards getting closer to ovulation

@Lauren8642 with irregular periods you may not be getting close. As mine never got any darker until pretty much the day before the peak and then went back light very quickly too. It doesn't always build up a stronger and stronger line as you go along. You could literally wake up tomorrow with a peak line x

Cd 14 looks pretty dark in comparison to others

Lauren8642 · 21/01/2024 10:41

@Jeragade123 im not sure what happened to the test that day because the strip has gone yellow aswell think I dipped it in too far

@Ttcmumma thank you that’s reassuring! I watch videos and see pictures of there being a progression of them getting darker and think mine look nothing other peoples then aswell never having tracked and having irregular periods it’s a waiting game 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

Mine doesn’t get darker…I think I surge quickly so one day nothing the next full on positive

Lauren8642 · 21/01/2024 15:11

@4LeafCloverBaby okay thank you I’ll keep testing 🤞🏼

@Lauren8642 good luck 🍀🤞🏼

Mine doesn't get darker either - your LH surge is just that, a surge not a gentle rise, so don't expect it to get darker. I only get 24hrs of anything above baseline!

AnnieStar12 · 21/01/2024 17:24

I use these same tests and have done for 9 months now, the levels will rise very suddenly and then peak and drop back down again.

So what you’re looking at is very normal. You’ll probably see them go darker any day now.
but the whole “surge” in my experience may only be between 12-36 hours.
