Fertility supplements changing cycle?

My cycle is regular as clockwork and period always arrives bang on when Flo says it will. Been trying to conceive for 2 years now, had loads of tests, know I ovulate, too old to be referred to fertility for anything else in this area (40+) and suspect the problem is that we don’t always have enough sex. But this month we did and at the “right” time. Anyway…

I started taking fertility gummies last month. I’ve taken the 7 Seas pre conception vitamins before and they’ve made no difference to my cycle but this month I am now 3 days late. I’ve had the usual angry/tearful day and cramps all week like my period is coming… but nothing. I dared to dream and took a test yesterday and there was definitely no second line.

Ive had a particularly stressful couple of weeks so it could be that, but I wondered if anyone had experienced supplements changing their cycle at all?

The month I took the 7 seas supplements my cycle went from an average of 28 days to 34. I stopped taking them after that. That was back in 2020 when I was TTC my daughter. My cycles went back to normal after I stopped them.

I started taking Pregnacare last month, my clockwork 28 day cycle suddenly went up to 32 days! Loads of similar stories online.

Yep I took Pregnacare and it messed up my ovulation and period dates so haven’t used again. I take vitamin D and folic acid on their own, and have a lot of healthy food. Better to get vitamins from food anyway

Pregnacare has changed my cycle but I seem to be one of the few that it’s had a positive affect on.

I’ve always had a clockwork 28 day cycle but after a missed miscarriage in June my cycle has fluctuated anywhere from 26 days to 34 days! However ever since I started pregnacare in November my cycles have gone back to 28 days consistently and taking them is the only thing I’ve done differently 😊

My guess is my hormones were off due to the miscarriage and pregnacare has helped restore them to where they should be! Not for everyone as I said, I’ve read a lot of negative reviews for them where they have extended people’s cycles but they seem to have done the trick for me in my circumstances.

Wishing you the best of luck with your ttc journey!

Thanks all - period arrived today so at least that mystery is solved! I used to take Zinc, folic acid and vitamin D separately but just thought the gummies would simplify things. I’ll give it another month and see.
