Hey Everyone, just looking for a bit of advice.
We have been TTC for 17 months now and never had a BFP. We are awaiting our fertility clinic appointment and have had all the initial tests with the GP. My results are normal but husband shown very low sperm motility (only 19) progressive sperm) I am 34 and husband is 36. The test was taken in October, we only got the results through in December.
I think seeing the results in black and white really shocked him and since he found out he has really been trying to improve his lifestyle. We are not expecting miracles but as long as he is trying his best then hopefully it helps.
My cycle is pretty regular and I track. I have bought opks again and we are going to try the SMEP this month (as best as we can) as the every other day method during fertile window has not worked for us so far. Is this a good idea given his motility?
I am curious to see what people with motility issues have found is the best thing to do. I have read such different things online and the GP has been pretty useless. Is sex daily going to be any good for his sperm? His count/morphology was good, just motility was bad.
Thank you 😊
