Good morning!
Only finished my period yesterday and first time tracking ovulation so thought I'd just start with the sticks early
And then got this today, can you ovulate so close to finishing AF?
Thanks

@Bubblegum350 that’s not a positive ovulation test hun, the line needs to be a lot darker for a positive. If you have short cycles & long periods then yes your lh surge can start pretty soon after your period

How long is your period? How long is your cycle?
Remember day 1 of your cycle is the first day of your period. It's irrelevant when it 'finishes'.

And agree with above, that's a pale line, so just an indication the LH is rising which is to be expected.

Keep an eye on & and track your cervical mucus. That's another indicator. Egg white/watery mucus will indicate you are very fertile.

Great thank you that is all helpful to know as never used these before
So a positive test will be a very dark line?

@Bubblegum350 yes a positive needs to be as dark or darker than the control line. Did it not have instructions with it?

How long is your cycle? Mine used to be 27 days so I’d start testing on day 8 (twice a day) to start off with until I had my ovulation day nailed down after a few cycles. I used to ovulate on day 15 which meant I usually got my positive ovulation test on day 14.

Don’t test using FMU unless you’re getting up at midday. LH peaks in the morning and takes a few hours to show up in urine so midday and late afternoon are the best times to test.

Ovulation tests won’t tell you if you have ovulated, only that you’re going to. Temping will confirm and I found it very beneficial but you do have to be accurate about it.
