Hi,

I’m wondering if doing (or not doing) certain activities in the TWW can affect conception.

I slipped on ice yesterday and fell on my behind 😂 no lasting injuries but my tailbone feels sore and it was a shock and a sudden bump to the ground.

We’ve also been holding off having sex in case it affects implantation, can it or is it fine?

Thank you - I feel a bit clueless with all this stuff.

I was travelling and doing activities while TTC.

And still to do everything I want, sex, gym, work etc. Hasn't caused any damaged, if anything it's probably helped the progression - though admittedly morning sickness slows you down.

I think it's an outdated notion that one needs to take it easy when TTC /pregnant. Do as much as you can, unless a clinician advises otherwise.

At this point the embryo can take 10-12 days to even implant in the womb. Even then the placenta is not formed for some time after 10-12 weeks? With the main concern of vigorous activities during pregnancy being placental abruption.

If anything i think maintaining normal life style in the tww keeps your mind off things and stress levels down (wich can affect fertility). I was even in a hot tub and hiking mountains in my TWW and have a very healthy one year old now ☺️ Good Luck!
