Hiya!! I just wanted some advice. I had my last period on 16 December. I came off my pills on 30 December whilst half way through them as we decided we wanted to have a baby.

I had a minor withdrawal bleed on 1st Jan. I had another small bleed on 6th Jan. We have been actively trying all month as not sure on ovulation dates.

When am I technically due on? I know it may be messed up a bit due to coming off pills but I've been extremely bloated / gassy since the start of this week with occassional cramps but no signs of my period and I thought I would come on around now.

How long should I wait before doing a pregnancy test for accurate reading? Thank you!!

@LAPBx it depends how long your cycles are…but a lot of women take a while to get their normal cycles back after coming off of the pill x

I know that generally the advice is that it takes around 3 months for your periods to regulate after coming off the pill. For some people it’s more and other less. But the reason that your period might not come when you expect it could very well be your body readjusting. It would be very fortunate indeed to get pregnant within the first month of coming off the pill but it wouldn’t be impossible by any means.
