I had a d and c 25 days ago and now I am having a lighter bleeding. For two days I bled and now suddenly it stopped the flow was very light. I am very much worried for lighter first periods after d and c in 25 days. Is there anyone who experienced this ? Can you reply please?

It's not unusual to have a light first period after a d&c, your lining has been completely cleared out by the procedure so there's less to come out from a period. If your second one is still really light it could be worth a call to your doctor but your body will still be returning to normal so try not to worry too much x

This is exactly what I am experiencing, had a missed miscarriage in November, had a D&C. Periods were regular before this every 28 days, medium flow and lasted around 5 days. The first period after came 30 days after and lasted a couple of days, very light bleeding. Just had the second one 27 days later, lasted 2 days and this time its even lighter so just makes you worry

Have you consulted a doctor? What are they saying? Are you worried about Asherman’s syndrome? Am too much worried.

After reading some other responses on similar threads I think I will wait to see what next month's is like and if it's the same will speak to the doctor

My first period after both my surgeries was much lighter than my usual. Within 3 cycles it was back to normal both times.

And when were you able to conceive?

I haven't again yet (into cycle 6 of trying). I know women who have conceived first cycle after a d&c, there's no set time frame.
