Just wondered if anyone has tried/has had any luck with acupuncture for conception? Ideally looking for recommendations around London/South East, but would be happy to travel to someone recommended. Thanks in advance.

I have and I did second time around. I can't say that it did work, but I will say that I found it beneficial re helping me to relax etc. I tried a number of therapists but the best by miles (for me) was Paula Felgate. www.paulafelgate.com

@scaredofthefuture2024 thank you so much! I know it’s hard to say for certain if it works, but I’ve heard good things (and relaxing would be beneficial)

I did for the 12 weeks before I did my second round of ivf and during my first trimester. I think it helped me - I had a much better response to my round and I am now 29 weeks pregnant. I am North though so can't really recommend a therapist but I would definitely recommend fertility accupuncture

For conception also take a look at your diet; to produce the necessary hormones you need to be eating an adequate ammount of natural animal fats, think meat, butter dairy etc.

I currently am and can highly recommend Blossom Tree Clinic in Pinner with Kate.

She's lovely, has been great with me TTC following a miscarriage and I'm now 11dpo with a BFP.

It relies on lots of other work with diet and lifestyle etc but worth it!

who knows really but I did it the day before and a few hours after my second ivf transfer , and that one stuck and worked.

Thank you for sharing, and congratulations @Kate9423 and @Truebee! I’m definitely going to give it a go.

@Kate9423 when did you start acupuncture in relation to your bfp, if you don’t mind me asking? Sorry for your loss, I’ve had two MCs so am also looking for help post loss.

I had a MC in November 23 and started mid December. I've had weekly since then, so about 6/7 sessions.

I'm definitely someone that was sceptical and very 'non believer' usually, but since acupuncture, seed cycling, warm diet and supplements I've seen an increase in progesterone of 12%, I'm warm (I have raynauds- usually numb hands and feet) and I got to the point of pain free periods.
