Am I pregnant?!

I am so so confused. I was 100% sure I’m not pregnant this cycle. Haven’t got sore boobs and it feels like I’m getting my period again. It’s my first month after a miscarriage. I took a test 4 weeks ago, and it was much lighter, then went negative and then got my period. I’m only 8dpo. Again no symptoms no sore breasts and feel like I’m coming on but I’ve just took 2 tests. Clearly positive. It’s either a chemical or left over HCG? But then when I think about it I tracked my ovulation like normal this month and had very negative ovulation tests only a week ago… it would have picked up the HCG if it was left over. I’m just in such shock

They definitely look positive!! Congrats, maybe test again in a few days - they do look strong for 8dpo but ovulation could have been a bit earlier?

I've had similar experience this month, zero symptoms, zero feelings around implantation but just got a BPF on a 6day early test. I was certain I was out!

i could have ovulated a day earlier so I could be 9DPO possibly! But I think im going to treat it as a chemical I think so I don’t get upset and if it’s not then great! And congrats!!! That’s made me feel slightly better, they’re early response strips which is why the bottom is quite dark, but I agree it is really dark for 8dpo :(! X

You just never know, how do you confirm ovulation? Is it with BBT or just OPKs, just because this month I did both and they gave different ovulation dates 🤷‍♀️

I don't know the science but I don't think a chemical would make it stronger. Keeping fingers crossed for you anyway 🤞

I didn’t use BBT this month because I had Covid! But I confirm with strips but I test 2/3 times a day when it’s positive. Just did an OPK and it’s really dark so whatever is going on is new but I think it’s a chemical just because I have no symptoms and it looks dark! But I do have a feeling I ovulated from both sides this month, I normally can always tell which side because of the pain but I had it from both sides which makes me think is it twins 😂 but I’m getting ahead of myself. I’ll know 100% next week but it’s so cruel if it’s chemical, after just having a MMC 😩 so I gave everything crossed 🤞🏼

There's definitely line. My understanding is that you are very fertile after miscarriage so perhaps you did get pregnant. I didn't get sore boobs with my successful pregnancy and I kept feeling like my periods were about to start so let's hope in few days time you get a clear positive test. 🤞🏼

A chemical pregnancy isn't usually darker than a pregnancy which progresses. A chemical pregnancy is literally a pregnancy that fails to progress so it gets as dark as it gets before it fades away so I wouldn't dismiss it on the basis of colour. Similarly, whilst it is clear for 8dpo/9dpo it's not unheard of and it is said that you are extra fertile following a miscarriage so I'd be optimistic! Congrats

When are your periods due? Perhaps you could take a digital early one once you are 5 days before.

I’ve got a digital, just not an early, period is due Wednesday/ Thursday but it might be later. I have a shorter than normal leuteal phase, it’s normally 11 days. But because of my miscarriage my cycles might of changed
