Understanding EWCM?!?

Happy Saturday everyone!

cycle 9 of trying for #1 and I’m currently CD8. I use OPKs and CB ovulation tests and always catch positive tests on those and blood tests indicate I am ovulating. Strip test negative this morning, flashing smiley on CB.

I just had a question around EWCM. I had a little yesterday and some this morning. Not loads but enough that noticed if you know what I mean. I’m just wondering how this ties in with ovulation? I’m not expecting to ovulate for another 4/5 days so is it possible that you get it in the run up to ovulation and that we should stick to our “schedule” (so sexy) of every other day in fertile window as advised by fertility expert.

@MrsBP15 I get my EWCM a week before ovulation usually 🙄🤷🏻‍♀️🙈 I would go by what the fertility expert suggested of every other day & then on the day of your peak

@4LeafCloverBaby thank you! Yes from what I can see online people can get EWCM a week or a few days before ovulating and that would make sense for me with previous cycles. I’m debating whether or not to stop testing for ovulation but I don’t think it really adds to my stress that much as it does with some people. I think I’ll do it this cycle and then see how I feel 🤷🏼‍♀️

@MrsBP15 I also get EWCM the run up, even a week before my ovulation tests find my peak- we use conceive plus lube throughout my cycle anyway, every little helps in my opinion 😂
