Early pregnancy test

Hi all, since coming off the pill I’ve had cycles which are short but gradually getting longer so I wasn’t sure when to test, I thought I’d tested too early but I see a very faint line on a early detection test. Do you see it too? Do you think it’s just a false positive?

Hey! Thank you it did come up in the timeframe. I think I’ve tested super early but it’s hard to tell with not regular cycles as of yet.

I get that completely! I ended up testing very early with my pregnancy. I was only 3 weeks but it was hard to tell due to periods. My lines were very faint on the tests so I wasn’t holding out a lot of hope but within a week they got darker and very noticeable as soon as I took the test.

@Hiddenvoice I hope so! I think I’m only 8dpo but I’m not sure. I tested as I had some weird twinges over the last few days. I’ll try again tomorrow or the next day and hope it is somewhat darker.

Hey.. I’ve been actively trying to conceive for roughly a year… took this test this morning and I don’t know if I am just trying to convince myself or if this is positive?! I have taken so many negatives this is the only time I’ve ever seen any kind of line at all.. but could it just be condensation marks?! I feel like it says 1 week which would fit the time frame but am I just imagining?! Thoughts please! To add, I did another test about 2 hours later and it was negative but could just be not as sensitive? And obviously really early!

I can see a line! The one I posted was actually positive in the end

dont worry, and try and take one in a couple of days. This is the following day from that test with the same test as above on the right. The first was 8dpo. I eventually did a digital day 11. And thank you

This is the one I did about an hour or so after the one on the original post… not a line at all!! Ive not been well all week either with a cold like illness that hasn’t fully developed into a cold yet so that was another thing that made me think maybe it is… my problem is that I have really irregular periods so I can’t even test when my period is due because I never know when that is.. I’ve just started writing down when my last intercourse is and then going from there… so it fits in the time line!!! Don’t you find it mad how the levels change so much through the day!!!

Yes definitely! I stuck with first morning pee to keep it consistent :) fingers crossed for you!! Keep us updated

I’ve tested again this morning, first wee of the day and all appear negative! I don’t know how early these tests are tho but I have some more I’ve ordered online which are early detection ones so will give those a go in a couple of days!!!

I’m getting positives on clear blue ultra early but still negative on digital. Due on tomorrow. Any thoughts? All the tests appear positive within the time frame and are a thick blue line but once they dry they go very blue and thin. I’m so confused and roving myself crazy!!

I took one test this morning which looks positive to me. Hospital did a test this afternoon which is negative, however I've just done another test and it also looks positive to me? I'm confused as now I'm not sure if my two different positive tests are accurate or the hospital negative test is accurate?

Hi this is my first pregnancy test. I did this one yesterday. Does the second line mean I am pregnant even if it’s a bit faint?
