IVF...day 6 scan...4 follicles :(

Hi all,

Started our IVF journey this month after ttc for 2 years with PCOS and aged 31....32 in a few months. Just had my first scan at day 6 of stims and they found 4 follicles and i think she said there were also 4 small ones. Right ovary is responding better than the left. I have an amh of 17 and they said when they did first initial scan i had 8 follicles! A bit disheartened by this but next scan is on Monday! Hopefully some grow in the meantime.

Anyone else get less follicles than they hoped for but still had decent number of eggs retrieved? Or any advice? Feel a little nervous about it all!!

@2022TTCBaby1 Hey, how did you get on in your cycle? I am quite surprised as your AMH is rather good. I am doing stims at the moment. AMH is 4, I’m 35. I have 4 follicles on the left and right isn’t responding. I’m anxious as 4 follicles isn’t a lot.
