Hey, looking got some advice/reassurance.

TTC.. I had unprotected sex from 28th dec - 7th Jan. No idea when next period is.

I've been experiencing mild cramping, feels like pinching and it comes and goes.

Took a pregnancy test today (12th jan) and was a big fat negative. Shall I assume I'm 100% not pregnant? Or did I test to early?

If you don’t know date of last period it’s impossible to know

Don't understand your comment about not knowing when next period is due? Do you have a normal cycle? When was your last period?
Do you know the biology of TTC? Fertile times of the month, cycle length etc?

If you might have conceived as late as 7th January you wouldn’t get a positive test yet. If you don’t know when your next period is it’s not possible to know if you tested too early or not. I would test again in a week or so if your period still hasn’t come.

When was your last period? Have you just come off birth control or do you have very irregular periods? Most women would have some idea. If you've just come off birth control or have very irregular periods you might find it useful to use ovulation tests (just the cheap strip ones) or something like sperm meets egg plan. If you don't know when or even if you've ovulated no one can tell you if your might just be testing too early or if you're definitely not pregnant.

I will test again next week if no period, thank you.
