Ovulation Test strips

Does anyone know if the expiration date on these will make them useless. I've been testing twice a day around when I thought I was ovulating and getting really downhearted that I seem to not be getting a surge. Going to buy some more today, but wondering if I could have actually ovulated and the out of date tests didn't recognise it?

I’m not sure on the answer, but I know I’d only use ones that are in date just to be 100% sure they’re working as they should xx

Yeah I bought some new ones today and it's still only showing a really weak line! Been kind of half trying for a few months now, so keen to work out when my ovulation is!

Which day did you start testing? When I was testing I started day 10 until I saw dark line.
Are your cycles regular?

Not that regular at the moment, although they were previously. Had a miscarriage in July and since then they have been not too regular. I bought some new ones and have had a solid line yesterday, so I think I've been ovulating on day 14 which was later than Flo was predicting which is heartening as means I've been concentrating my dtd efforts on the wrong days, so fingers crossed this will make everything a bit more accurate!

If the new tests show ovulation day 14 that's good as you can estimate for next month and DTD as much as you can around this date while testing. As we tried for so many years I noticed that I was able to tell my ovulation from how I become more aroused and more wet so it's worth paying attention to your body in case you notice changes that you can use as indication.
